A Hot Summer Day in NC

Today, you helped the neighbors wash their truck and boat. You love your neighbor, Emma. You introduce her as “your best friend, Emma.” She’s so sweet to you.

BBs! 

BBs real name is Herbie. 

She is the sweetest, most loving cat on planet Earth. When I lived in Salt Lake City back in 2014, I went to the Humane Society and asked them for the oldest animal they had because I knew nobody would adopt it. They gave me Herbie. This cat is so loving and is not like any other cat I’ve everencountered. When you were a baby, you’d grab her fur or tail and she didn’t even seem to mind. She loves you so much. 

Sylvie gets a scooter!

 It's 04/2019 - you're 3 now! You are sooo much fun! You got a scooter this week. 

Well, I got you a scooter and it took me forever to put it together...

But I did it! 

You are one awesome little girl. You love spiders, snakes and volcanoes. Haha. 

You also conquered potty training last month and you love going to daycare. You have so many friends there. You also love going to the local Nature Center. Your favorite animals to look at are the otters and the rattle snakes. (You don't get it from me! haha)

Gosh, you have grown up so much since we moved to North Carolina. I go to school full time online to finish my degree in college. Make sure and go to college straight out of high school - and do your best! I graduated high school and then moved to Dallas, TX. I wish I had gone to college instead. Of course, if I had I might not be sitting with you right now.

You tell me all the time that I'm your best friend. I wish I could be with you forever.

Hi little goose!

Mimi loves you so much. You really are the sweetest baby. You love to hug and you have the cutest little voice.

You say "All done." when you're done eating or just bored and want to move onto something else. You say "Shoe! Shoe!" (like a train, but 'shoe' not 'choo') And you say "One, two, fee, five!" Haha never four. Gosh, I sure do love you. You are such an amazing little girl. You will go so far.

TIME.

My, how time flies.

Since last updating this, I bought us a house in Salt Lake City, then after living there a year, sold it and we moved to Asheville, NC to be with Nana.

We really are awesome little goose. We drove 2200 miles across the country with BB's (our 16 year old cat) and pulling a U-Haul. I'm not going to lie, it was pretty tough. But I never could have done it without you. Did you know that you're not even 2 yet and you've been to 12 states?! 😲

Here is us before we left Utah:

When we made it to TN we had to wait on Nana's house to be ready so we stayed with your cousins, the Stanford's. We stayed there for a month and had to entertain ourselves. That's not hard having you around! Everyone loves you so much.

We're all settled in Asheville, NC now.


Here's a few things about the little girl I love so dear:

• You love Sesame Street and Daniel Tiger
• You call me, Mimi, instead of Mommy. I don't mind, I kinda like it :)
• You are very social and love to play with other kids.
• You're pretty much the opposite of me when I was little. You aren't scared of anything. Constantly doing flips and scaring me to death.
• You aren't even 2 yet and you can count to five. You're going to be so smart!

 Hi Sylvie!!! Mommy loves you so much.
 I just wanted to tell you what's been happening recently. I got a promotion at my job and a raise. And guess what? Nana comes to visit on Wednesday next week! You love your Nana so much, and she adores you. 

 Anyway, since last making this website, I rented an apartment for us. You are almost 7 months old now! What a big girl! You are so cute. You've learned to sit up, roll over, and your almost crawling. I'm sure you would have been crawling by now but Mommy doesn't let you on these hardwood floors.
